In Their Words

My practicum with Heritage Interpreting bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. I was able to deepen my understanding of the field by collaborating with skilled interpreters dedicated to my professional development and engaging in a wide range of assignments. Heritage’s Deaf-centered, innovative approach and strong community presence created a rich environment for my growth. Access to workshops, observations, and one-on-one mentorship led to a well-rounded and impactful experience for me. Most of all, I felt genuinely included as part of the team, which made my time at Heritage especially meaningful.
